Acro Skills (9-16yo) - A class for youth and teens ages 9-16 who are working on intermediate to advanced acro skills and sequences. Class will incorporate a systematic warm-up, focused on stretching, strengthening and balancing. Students will then participate in skill-specific training circuits where they'll fine-tune existing skills and progress towards new skills. Concentration will also be given to skill transitions and creative sequencing. With each student inevitably working on different skills there will be the opportunity for supported "free-work". Examples of skills covered include handstand pirouettes, front and back walkovers, walkover variations, aerials, handsprings, tucks and contortion work. There will also be class time dedicated to partner skills (supine balances, partner cartwheels and walkovers, counterbalance stunts etc.) as well as acro group formations. There will be a strong emphasis on proper technique and clean skill entries and exists.Recommended that student is working towards or mastered backbends and kickovers. Class limited to 12 students. Integrate and Invert (previously Intermediate Yoga) - A class for regular practitioners who are working on intermediate and advanced postures, variations and transitions, including inversions, arm balances, binding, balancing and some acro-yoga poses. This class is recommended for yogis with prior experience looking to expand their practice. Drop In, Class Pass and Registered Session Friendly. 13+
Early Bird Yoga - Start your day off right - with an Astanga inspired flow or a gentle Hatha practice (morning dependent)! Yoga Lunch Break - Take a break from your work day to stretch out and relax! This 40 minute yoga class is condensed to perfectly fit your lunch hour. Rest and Restore - Rest and Restore is a nurturing class that seeks to bring the practitioner into a deep state of relaxation. Class will begin with a 10-15 minute guided meditation before moving through a gentle asana practice. Restorative postures and a lengthy Savasana give the practitioner an opportunity to integrate the benefits of mindful movement. With a strong focus on emotional introspection and exploratory movement, this class seeks to encourage grounding through slow and steady movement. All levels, beginners welcome. Prenatal friendly. Vinyasa Flow - A dynamic and upbeat synchronization of breath and movement intended to create warmth in the body. While concentrating on postural alignment and muscular engagement in both poses and transitions, the student will experience a challenging and energizing practice. A great choice for thos e looking to strengthen the body, while also channeling the benefits of conscious movement. All levels, beginners welcome. Kids Yoga/Acro (5-7yo) - A yoga class designed for kids to play, discover and explore yoga! Yogis will play creative yoga style games, experience how reading comes alive with yoga, complete yoga obstacle courses, and creative art projects that are yogic themed such as peace, acceptance, love, honesty, contentment, gratitude and affirmations! Finally, we will wind down with guided relaxation, breath work, and blissful savasana (rest). A super fun class! Registration only. Limited spaces available.
Youth Yoga/Acro (8-11yo) - A super fun class that combines yoga asana, meditation, tumbling and partner acrobatics! Students will generate spatial awareness as they work on traditional yoga postures, inversions, arm balances and transitions. In doing so, youth yogis will develop strength, increase their flexibility and gain confidence in their ability to move with intent. Registration only, Limited spaced available.
Foundations Flow - With an emphasis on breath awareness, this hatha style class focuses on the foundations and basics of yoga through healthy alignment. Increase mobility, flexibility, strength and balance while exploring the unlimited potential of the body, mind and breath connection. Kickass Core Yoga - In this class we will be working toward building internal as well as external strength within the core or abdominal region. She OMs It Teen Yoga - This girls only class is full of beautiful smiles, contagious laughter, relaxation exercises and fun yoga that is aimed at empowering girls to live a happy, authentic, positive, powerful life full of kindness and compassion. It offers an opportunity to develop strength, balance & the capacity for developing compassionate relationships. This class also incorporates acro yoga, partner yoga, which emphasizes our strength and how teamwork can enhance our practice! In all classes we will work on breathing, calming the mind and finding our awesomeness. We offer a safe space to practice the lessons of yoga! For girls aged 12+. Registered Session Only. Ashtanga Flow - This Ashtanga inspired class will cover sections of the the primary series, linked with breath and end in savasana, keeping an eye on your alignment every step of the way. It is designed for yogis with some yoga experience and familiarity with the primary series. This class is quicker paced and focused on developing a clear, safe and comfortable practice. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try. Some yoga experience recommended. Drop In, Class Pass and Registered Session friendly. 13+
TGIF Yoga - Friyay! Start your weekend off with some movement! What kind of yoga you may ask? Well, each week is a bit of surprise ;) Rotating teachers with different passions, trainings and styles means it'll change each and every week! Sattvic Flow - A sattvic based, dynamic vinyasa flow that combines pranayama and asana to create equilibrium in the body and maintain a state of meditation throughout the flow of postures. Prenatal Yoga - A class for all the incredible human-making goddesses. A nurturing, safe and comforting practice for expecting mother's in various stages of pregnancy. Baby and Me Yoga - A fun class where parents are encouraged to bring their newborn infant(s) to the mat. Gain strength, flexibility and stamina as you bond with your new bundle of joy! This class includes a guided asana practice for parents as well as time for baby to enjoy their own yoga. Hold baby, talk to baby, sit with baby, stretch and massage your little one - incredible bonding can be created through touch and gentle, facilitated movement. Baby and Me Yoga is also a great opportunity for new parents to connect with other new moms and dads - creating a welcoming, secure and supportive community.
